The Technical Advisor is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating engineering efforts in the delivery of Completion products and services.


He/she provides engineering expertise to external customers, negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.


The Completion Technical Advisor will be based in Customers Accra office and shall be available on a daily basis for discussions and advices concerning Completion Equipment and to provide such planning, management, administrative and technical engineering services as the Company may require for the duration of the Contract.


The Completion Project Engineer shall be familiar with Company’s policy statements, guidelines and standards and ensure contractor’s activities are performed in accordance with same.


The Completion Technical Advisor shall be fully qualified and experienced in all technical and operational aspects of the Deep Water subsea completion equipment, running, retrieval and testing tools and ancillary equipment to be supplied.


Duty station will be Accra, Ghana.

Roles:
Manage the project planning and execution schedule for all equipment, including design, manufacture and installation phase.
Lead Completion Equipment related risk assessment, including maintenance of associated risk registers
Provide End of Well Reports (EOWR) within the required time frame.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of undergraduate degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 years of oil field service experience, including experience in business development and experience managing the work of others.
- 7-10 years deepwater smart well completion experience
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Business acumen, assertiveness
- Ability to take informed decisions and to follow Halliburton and client protocol to deliver a successful well.
